Living in Japan you definitely see sushi everywhere, including my house. Hehe. It’s filling, easy to make, and my kids love it! Everything is better on a stick. Or is that just my motto? I just love kabobs! They make normal food fun because they are bite-sized and usually accompanied with a gooey sauce. Am I right? Well this baby is no exception. It’s just a little twist on how you would ordinarily serve sausage and bacon. It’s sausage and bacon skewered on a stick and doused in an apricot bbq sauce. YUMMO!
Who doesn’t love breakfast sausage? And when you take the extra time to make it homemade you will have a hard time eating the packaged stuff again. After trying a few different recipes I finally created “The One.” Mom was right! When you meet, “The One” you will know it! lol I don’t think she was talking about sausage but after first bite I knew this was it.
Sounds like a weird combo for a pizza, I know. But one day I was making a shrimp and shallot mixture for another dish and it dawned on me, this would make a great, PIZZA PIZZA. So WAHLAH (if that’s even how you spell that)! The shrimp and shallot pizza was born, at least in my house.
